What if every film in your library were a 3D film?
koko can now run an ordinary film through your own computer on the way to the headset. A depth model reads every frame and builds the second eye for it, so a flat film arrives in 3D while it plays. A neural upscaler redraws it at up to 4K, so the older and smaller files in your library stop looking soft on a screen the size of a wall.
Nothing to convert, nothing uploaded anywhere. You press play.
It is the companion doing the work
This is what koko Companion is for: the free desktop app for Windows, macOS and Linux. Install it and put the headset on. It finds the computer on your own network and asks whether you want to pair it, and from then on it works on what you already watch, whether that is a folder on that computer, a drive on the network, or a Plex or Jellyfin server.
Pick one, not both
Either one suits most machines on its own, and both at once asks a lot of one, so you choose the one you want for a given film. Turn them both off and the same film plays the way it always did.
